In 1969 times were a lot different than they are today. Cars were different, roads were different and the way we all lived life were different. One thing that has always stayed the same is the importance of driving safely and driving in a vehicle that is safe Harry’s Driving School was founded in 1969 when Harry Cressler retired from the military and moved back to Deerfield, MI.
Harry saw the need for drivers education in the area as there were more and more cars on the road. Harry brought his passion for cars and his passion for teaching together and formed Harry’s Driving School in the winter of 1969.
Since then, Harry’s has always been a family owned and operated local business, dedicated to our community here in Deerfield. When you see the “STUDENT DRIVER” sticker on our signature VW Beetles driving around, you’ll know that we are hard at work raising up the newest generation of excellent drivers.
